Prevention
Support before crisis becomes permanent.
About
SixMiles is an Indigenous-led prevention, healing, employment, and reintegration centre based in Ohsweken, within Six Nations territory.

Why SixMiles
Some men need support before a courtroom, incarceration, homelessness, or deeper addiction. Others need support after those harms have already happened. In both cases, the pressure points are similar: no safe place to live, no daily structure, no work, no cultural grounding, and no realistic bridge back to community life.
SixMiles brings the parts that are usually separated into one accountable setting.
The approach
Support before crisis becomes permanent.
Housing, routines, meals, and consistent expectations.
Training, employment, certifications, and mentorship.
Culture, family, Elders, circles, and community responsibility.

Six Nations
The future campus is intended to connect participant support with family accountability, cultural programming, workforce development, and broader community benefit.
It is not a substitute for courts, corrections, shelters, or clinical treatment. It is a place where partners can work together before systems fail people again.
Get involved
SixMiles welcomes community partners, employers, service providers, volunteers, and funders who share the commitment to safer returns and stronger futures.
