Community Healing: The Role of Traditional Ceremonies
Understanding how traditional Indigenous ceremonies support healing and reconciliation in our programs.

Traditional ceremonies create space for reflection, responsibility, grief, and renewal. They help participants reconnect with teachings that many were separated from by trauma, systems, or circumstance.
Ceremony is not a replacement for practical support. It works alongside housing, employment, counselling, and community accountability.
When participants reconnect with culture and community, healing becomes more than an individual task. It becomes shared work that includes families, Elders, and the broader community.
